Dear Editor,

Re: “Retired cop turns dumpster diver,” Wellness, May 28.

It takes a village and l would like to thank Lauretta, Brenda, Angela and Gail for your donations. And, Linda, a lady who picks up items from me and transports them to the Vancouver Downtown Eastside for distribution. Lastly, those people who read my story in the Richmond News and thanked me for what l do. None of this would have been possible without the help of Alan Campbell of the Richmond News.

Be safe and take care of each other.

Earl Clapp
