Dear Editor,
I’ve been tracking the coronavirus outbreak and I’m getting very concerned Canada is still allowing people from China to land in our airports without being quarantined.
YVR is close to Richmond and it’s a sound assumption these people will be mixed with the population here.
Because of the fear of being infected, people are shunning malls and restaurants.
If people have assurances that a 14-day quarantine is in place, then they will feel safer and have confidence in dining out and shopping.
