Richmond library offers free online anxiety talk event for parents, kids

An online talk event to help parents and kids cope with anxiety is being offered on Oct. 7.

The Richmond Public Library in partnering with Pathways Clubhouse and Beyond the Blues to host a talk where parents can learn different ways to help their kids cope with anxiety and stress during COVID-19.

Dr. Gabriela Ionita, a registered psychologist with experience in counselling, will be leading the virtual event and sharing different strategies with parents.

The program will be held over Zoom from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
