Who is up for some free sports on the North Shore?

The third annual Get Out And Play family sports day will be held Sunday, Aug. 25 at North Vancouver’s Confederation Turf Field (Carson Graham Secondary).

Participants can take part in a number of fun activities from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Here are some more details from event organizers:

When: Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Where: Confederation Turf Field in North Vancouver (next to Carson Graham Secondary School). 2145 Jones Ave.

How much: Free! We will have a donation jar at the event. The suggested donation amount is $5/family. Cash only please.

Who: Parents, teenagers and children of all ages (typically ages 3-16). We encourage everyone to participate (yes, parents too!).

Why: This is a great opportunity to participate in sports and activities in a fun and non-competitive environment, make new friends, and have fun with the entire family!

Activities: Soccer, bocce, ultimate Frisbee, football, obstacle courses, activity stations for kids and toddlers, and much more.…
