In what increasingly feels like a world full of “bad” news, I was heartened to read Brent Richter’s article in Friday’s paper, Moving Mountains to Save a River.
Thank you, Mr. Richter, for this amazing local interest story. And congratulations to Shaun Hollingsworth, president of the Seymour Salmonid Society, and countless others who literally moved mountains to save the Seymour River and its salmon run.
It’s truly amazing what a group of dedicated volunteers can accomplish. My heartfelt thanks to all involved.
