Across the North Shore, students have been researching federal party platforms and debating and discussing the future of the country. They joined students across Canada this week for Student Vote, a parallel election where students take on the role of setting up polling stations, supervising voting and counting their classrooms’ ballots. 

The Inquiring Reporter asked students at Cove Cliff Elementary which way they were leaning. While it may have been a “mock” vote, it was clear that students were far from making a mockery of the electoral process.
