Lions Gate Sinfonia will present Songs and Serenades of the Season, featuring vocalists Nic Kyle and Ingrid Mapson on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m.
Kyle has performed for over a decade on stages in New Zealand, Australia, London and Canada. He has also written and performed five solo shows and has appeared as a soloist in several Christchurch Symphony Orchestra concerts. In 2012, he toured with musical theatre star Elaine Paige in The Elaine Paige Tour throughout Australia and New Zealand as a guest artist.
The Sinfonia performance will include music by Canadian composers Elliot Weisgarber, Michael Conway Baker, Christopher Nickel and Jocelyn Morlock, as well as music by Edward Elgar and Gustav Holst.
