Is this your wedding photo?

In the spring of 2009 Grace Soligo picked up a book from the Salvation Army on Lonsdale Avenue.

“Sifting through the pages, something popped out,” she recalls.

Wedged into her used copy of She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb was a black and white photo of a laughing bride and her husband cutting into their wedding cake.

The photo was in mint condition, she reports.

“I want to return this photo to them,” Soligo says. “It’s sort of a mystery.”

She’s posted the picture on social media. The image has generated shares and comments, but no sign of the happy couple are the kids.

Based on the wedding dress, Soligo guesses the photo is from the late-1960s or early ’70s.

“I just want to find out who this belongs to,” she says. “I think it’s a cool little story – hopefully with a really interesting ending.”
