The 12th annual Taste of the Bay event hosted by the Horseshoe Bay Business Association transformed Royal Avenue into a street party on a beautiful evening in late May. Participants strolled through the village community, tasting food and beverage samples from 30 local restaurants and businesses. There was live music, art displays, paddle boarding for kids, a photo booth at Sewell’s, and an antique fire truck and Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue boat to tour. Three lucky festival-goers won gift baskets of merchandise and experiences from Horseshoe Bay merchants and one lucky kid won a children’s paddleboard at this fun-filled family event.
