North Vancouver’s Loutet Farm hosted the North Shore Neighbourhood House’s Food, Wine and Wishes fundraiser on Aug. 22. A silent auction offered wonderful excursions, gift baskets, golf clubs, jewelry, craft beer, wine and plenty more. Appetizers were served and a fresh spread of delicious food was set out. North Vancouver City Mayor Linda Buchanan spoke about the positive effect that North Shore Neighbourhood House, celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, has had on our community – helping families, particularly women and children, better their lives.
