I am just following up on a news item I heard yesterday about the quality of care in assisted living facilities. I am sure this was a “generalization” of seniors’ living facilities.
I just want to give a shout out to all of the people who are working in this front line position, especially to Augustine House where my mum has resided for the past two years. Things have not been easy for the seniors, or for their families, but I just want to commend Augustine House for the amazing action they have taken to protect their residents.
There has not been one incidence at that facility; and while we all, as family members, would like to get things back to normal, we understand the daily challenge that the staff undergo in keeping our families safe and thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
