As if parking in Ladner Village isn't challenging enough, our civic politicians, with full support of the Ladner Business Association, have decided to make it even more difficult with their "parking bingo" bylaw.
How does Coun. Dylan Kruger think this will help to address the ongoing parking struggles? It certainly won't help those of us working full-time in the village who already have to leave three times a day to move a vehicle.
We spend our money in Ladner and support local businesses, so who are these parking spaces being vacated for?
Perhaps if our politicians had to excuse themselves from a council meeting to move their vehicles they might consider an alternate solution. Guess that's not an issue when you have designated parking.
