Delta MP Carla Qualtrough is hosting a fireside morning chat on accessibility on Monday at Ladner United Church.
Alongside Rick Hansen, a moderated fireside chat will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a Q&A from attendees. Light food and beverages will be served.
The topic will be going from accessibility to inclusion: how leadership and local action can make a difference in our communities.
The event comes just a few weeks after the federal government passed the new Accessible Canada Act and the major role that Qualtrough, the Minister of Public Services, Procurement and Accessibility played in the effort to get the Act passed.
All are invited to Monday’s discussion.
