Coming off their best season in recent memory, the Vancouver Giants will open their main training camp on Thursday at the Ladner Leisure Centre.
The Western Hockey League 2018-19 finalists will divide players into three groups — Team Kane, Team Gallagher and Team Lucic — for practices and scrmmages. There will also be separate goalie sessions.
Players will be put through off-ice fitness testing on Thursday and also tour South Delta Secondary School where the high school age players will be based. The on-ice sessions start Friday morning and continue right through until 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The camp concludes with the Legends Cup Game at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
