Call from resident leads to arrest of B&E suspects

It’s another example of the Delta Police’s ‘no call too small’ initiative as well as community policing.

On Wednesday afternoon, DPD related in a post on their Twitter feed that thanks to a concerned Ladner resident police were able to arrest two suspects known to police.

“Thanks to a call from a concerned Ladner resident in regards to a man and woman opening vehicle doors at 2 a.m. on Jan. 21, police were able to arrest two suspects who were known to police. DPD would like to remind residents of the increase of thefts from auto in Delta.”

Please ensure that you do not leave anything in plain view for a thief to steal. If you believe that you have been a victim of a theft from auto, or have witnessed a theft from auto, please contact DPD's non-emergency line at 604-946-4411.
