A deal between two of the industry’s premier window covering brands is a win for homeowners in Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta.

Budget Blinds of Delta, part of the Budget Blinds and Home Franchise Concepts (HFC) family, has finalized an agreement with Hunter Douglas, the world’s leading manufacturer of window coverings, to offer the popular Hunter Douglas line to homeowners throughout Delta.

Budget Blinds of Delta is one of 74 Budget Blinds franchises in Canada that is now eligible to join the Hunter Douglas Aligned Dealer Program and add the Hunter Douglas brand to its signature in-home design consultation and installation service.

Franchise owners David and Tara Anderson can offer customers access to Hunter Douglas’ hundreds of window-covering products, including sheers, shades, blinds and shutters plus PowerViewmotorization and other advanced operating systems.

Budget Blinds is North America’s largest network of franchised window covering professionals, and installs window coverings in an average of 60,000 homes per week. “This announcement brings together two of the largest and most prestigious names in customized window coverings in Canada and further expands Budget Blinds’ industry leadership in window covering design, quality, product variety and customer service,” said Tracy Christman, HFC’s executive vice president of product development and management.

According to Christman, the deal benefits Budget Blinds franchises which can now combine an even-larger, world-class array of design-focused window covering options with the brand’s exclusive in-home service.

The partnership between Budget Blinds of Delta and Hunter Douglas is part of an expanded commitment by Budget Blinds to lead the industry in customization, innovation and community partnership across North America.
