Once again the Salvation Army Harbour Light in Vancouver will benefit from the generosity of the South Delta farming community. On Monday morning, East Ladner resident Harlow Burrows stopped by the Optimist with a truck loaded up with potatoes and other vegetables – some 3,000 pounds worth – he was taking to the Salvation Army. Other donations came from Rod Burr from Burr Farms and Brent Kelly from B Kelly Farms. Burrows said this is the seventh year the farming community has come together to make the donation.
