The Tsawwassen Legion celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day with a First Nations dance demonstration that branch president Bill Belsey says made everyone want to get up and try it.

The Tsawwassen Legion celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day with a First Nations dance demonstration that branch president Bill Belsey says made everyone want to get up and try it.

And they did just that thanks to Shyama Priya and John Miller of Wild Moccasin Dancers.

Belsey says the event was a great way to celebrate and remember the First Nations people who served to help our country stay free.

The Tsawwassen Legion, located in Century Square at 22-1835-56th St., has reopened with safety features in place.
