Art is for everyone at the Burnaby Art Gallery. Every month, the gallery throws open its studio doors on a Sunday afternoon and invites families in to check out the ongoing exhibition and then try their hand at some artwork. Each month has a different theme, and this month families learned some new “paint resist” techniques, in connection with the ongoing New Acquisitions exhibition at the library. Photographer Kevin Hill stopped by to check it out on Sunday, March 13. The next In the Bag session is taking place on Sunday, April 10 on a theme of Big and Messy, in connection with the new Arts Alive exhibition that’s coming to the gallery.
