The Philippine Cultural Heritage Festival will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of the island nation.
On Aug. 11, Swangard Stadium will be full of the sights, sounds and tastes of the Philippines.
“We are showcasing our traditional and cultural street dancing and singing at the beat of the drums, while displaying an array of colourful costumes and reverberating street performances that will surely electrify the audience’s curiosity,” organizer Rey Calinisa wrote in an email.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with an opening ceremony and parade at 1 p.m. Admission is free.
There will also be a chance to win a free round-trip ticket to the Philippines, with no purchase necessary to entre.
