Snow has now closed Burnaby's busiest bus route for the entire day

The snow is wreaking havoc on Burnaby transit routes. TransLink has just announced the city’s busiest bus route has been cancelled for the entire day due to poor road conditions.

The snow is wreaking havoc on Burnaby transit routes.

TransLink has just announced the city’s busiest bus route has been cancelled for the entire day due to poor road conditions.

The 49 UBC/Metrotown station route - from Metrotown SkyTrain station - is now closed. This is a major route for riders trying to travel east and west to and from Vancouver.

Burnaby has three routes on the list of Metro Vancouver’s  busiest bus routes, including the 49 at number two with 9.3 million boardings each year, followed by the 16 at number six with 7.9 million boardings and the 95 B Line at number 10 with 6.8 million boardings.
