Yes, it’s Peter Pan – and a New Westminster performer will be part of the fun when a contemporary adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic story comes to the stage starting in November.

Carousel Theatre for Young People is presenting Bad Hat Theatre’s Peter Pan, backed by live folk and jazz music, at the Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island from Nov. 23 to Jan. 5.

The production features Kaitlyn Yott as Peter Pan, joined by a cast that includes New Westminster performer Kelli Ogmundson, along with Michelle Bardach, Steve Charles, Victor Dolhai, Paige Fraser, Marlene Ginader, Alison Jenkins, Josue Laboucane, Camille Legg and Evan Rein.

It’s directed by Deb Williams, with music direction by Steve Charles, and it’s choreographed by Wendy Gorling and Amanda Testini.

Tickets are $35 for adults, $29 for students and seniors, and $18 for young people aged three to 18. The show is recommended for children aged four and up, and the run includes a special relaxed performance on Nov. 30, plus lower-priced Family Friday shows on Dec. 6 and 13.
