It would be a well deserved slap in the face for Canada as a nation if the concerns of Leilani Farha, UN rapporteur on adequate housing, finds Canada in violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in 1948, especially since a Canadian, Professor John Humphrey, was largely responsible for its creation. 

The tent city at Oppenheimer Park is but one of many in condemnation of our society.
