Art lovers, rejoice.

Van Dop Gallery is hosting a pop-up art show and sale this weekend at 100 Braid Street Studios – and everyone’s welcome to book a time to drop by.

The show will introduce the gallery’s newest artist, Deb Chaney, with contemporary abstract art.

The collection on display will include pieces by Canadian artists such as Joe Average, Enda Bardell, Veronica Foster, Coral Barclay, Thomas Arvid, Carole Arnston, Alan Boileau, Marilyn Hurst, Jan MacLeod, Alfred Muma, Sheila Norgate, April White and more.

A gallery press release notes that each piece has been part of the gallery’s collection for years, making their availability for purchase a rare opportunity.

The show is free to attend, but visitors must reserve a time in order to abide by COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Time slots are available in half-hour increments, with the first at noon and the last at 4:30 p.m.

Gallery owner Trudy Van Dop will be circulating to offer information and assistance.
