Puppies and prizes are part of the fun of an upcoming fundraiser in New West.
The New Westminster Youth Ambassador Team is holding a burger and trivia night fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Royal Crown Castle, 101 – 319 Governors Crt.
“Put a team together (four, six or eight), or if you want we can put you on a team, and come out for a fun evening,” said Lynn Radbourne, founder of the program, in an email to the Record. “There’ll be lots of prizes, a bottle draw that you’re guaranteed a bottle of something, and puppies. Please come out and support both of these very deserving organizations.”
Along with the ambassador program, partial proceeds will go to B.C. and Alberta Guide Dogs.
