The Royal Columbian Hospital Auxiliary, which operates the gift shop and lotto booth in Royal Columbian Hospital and the New To You thrift store, could use some help chronicling its history.

The Royal Columbian Hospital Auxiliary could use a helping hand chronicling its history.

Kathy Corbeil, manager of volunteer resources at Royal Columbian Hospital, said the auxiliary had to move out of a storage room in the basement because of the redevelopment taking place at the hospital.

“During the cleanout we unearthed several boxes of archival documents,” she said in an email to the Record. “The auxiliary has been around since the early 1900s. I am looking for a volunteer to go through the boxes and put together a journal for the auxiliary.”

Anyone interesting in helping put together a journal for the auxiliary can contact Kathy Corbeil at Kathy.Corbeil@fraserhealth.ca.
