The Pie Hole supports homelessness efforts in New Westminster

The New Westminster Homelessness Coalition is teaming up with a Burnaby business on a sweet and savory fundraiser. You still have time to support the coalition, which is having a pie fundraiser until Nov. 26.

The New Westminster Homelessness Coalition is teaming up with a Burnaby business on a sweet and savory fundraiser.

You still have time to support the coalition, which is having a pie fundraiser until Nov. 26. The Pie Hole, located just across the New West border, is supporting the local non-profit by providing it with 25 per cent of the proceeds of select pies.

Several flavours of fresh or frozen pies are available: apple pie; vegan apple pie vegan chocolate hazelnut cream pie – also gluten free; raspberry cream crumble; chicken pot pie; spinach feta pie; vegan Moroccan chickpea; and beef bourguignon. Pies will be available for pickup at the Pie Hole, 7832 Sixth St. in Burnaby, on Friday, Nov. 29 from noon to 6 p.m. To place an order, go to http://nwhc.thepiehole.com.
