Stir-fried noodles, flavourful curries and local craft beers are back on the menu as another New West foodie favourite reopens its doors.
Longtail Kitchen, the Southeast Asian eatery at River Market, has opened its doors again to dine-in business. It’s also offering food and drinks for takeout — including several Steel & Oak beers — and delivery via Skip the Dishes and Uber Eats.
For dine-in service, guests will be asked to abide by social-distancing guidelines. Dine-in seating will be capped at a maximum of 16 guests, including seats on the riverside patio.
Chef Angus An and new head chef Bonnie Khummuang are offering up a menu featuring a variety of snacks and sides including crispy chicken wings, sweet chilli fish balls, and hand-pulled roti with peanut sauce. Fried noodle choices include pad Thai (with tofu, chicken or prawns) and pad see-ew beef, or Singapore fried noodle with tofu or chicken. Rice dishes include Chinese sausage fried rice, basil chicken, gai-lan and pork belly, and a daily curry with choices of tofu, chicken, prawns or fish balls.
You can top off your meal with a selection of non-alcoholic drinks including coconut, mango, guava or lychee juice or premium sugar cane juice, or with Steel & Oak craft beers including the Shiny Things India Pale Ale, Vibrant Things Tropical Pale Ale and the Quinella Saison with Guava and Brett.
Longtail Kitchen is currently open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.
