Chamber Musicians of Kamloops plan for live-streamed concerts

The Chamber Musicians of Kamloops have set out a plan for the remainder of their season, with their first live-streamed performance taking place in early September.

On Saturday, Sept. 5, the group of Kamloops musicians will perform their concert, Sycamore on a Lark, featuring the Sycamore String Quartet.

The Kamloops-based quartet features Cvetozar Vutev and Sanda Wilmot on violin, Ashley Kroecher on viola and Martin Kratky on cello.

Tickets to the event are $15, or $10 for students and CMK members, and are available online at cmk.eventbrite.ca. Purchasers will receive a link to watch the performance.

Eight other concerts are also scheduled, stretching into late spring, 2021.

They include Partners in Crime on Oct. 24, BBubbles on Dec. 4 and Legends, Myths and Fairytales on Jan. 9, 2021.

Because of current COVID-19 restrictions, all concerts are scheduled to be live-streamed, but circumstances may change if the audiences are allowed once again.
