Howe Sound Performing Arts swings into 27th season

Traditional French Canadian music and dance on Oct. 5
concert

The Howe Sound Performing Arts Association invites Squamish to get into the swing of the season with Tout l'Monde Swingue.

Local musicians kick things off at the traditional French Canadian cultural event, with Cam Salay and Sofie Hill performing a mix of roots, bluegrass, celtic, folk and country. Daniel Gervais and Roger Dallaire play live, bringing all to the dance floor for group and contra dances at this family-friendly event.

Gervais is a two-time Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Champion, while Dallaire is a storyteller with an accordion in hand, and the caller.

Dance the night away at Howe Sound Secondary School on Oct. 5, from 6 to 10 p.m.
