Bultery’s Community House to open in Dawson Creek

Fund raising efforts are in full swing as construction for the Bultery’s House continue. 

On Tuesday September 10, members from South Peace Health Services Society (SPHSS) held a BBQ fundraiser at Chances casino 

SPHSS is a non-profit society dedicated to enhance medical care in the region by: providing affordable accommodations for patients receiving medical treatment in Dawson Creek, and retention efforts for physicians and nurses.  

Property 1225 - 113 Avenue is currently undergoing renovations to include seven bedrooms, shared kitchen and eating area, two lounge rooms, and shared laundry. There are further plans for a carriage house to accommodate nurses and physicians. 

Anticipated opening date is February 2020 for the public’s use. Please keep an eye out for upcoming fund raisers for this project throughout the community. Notices will be posted on facebook or contact president.sphss@gmail.com
