Lake View Credit Union awards $29,500 to non-profits

As part of their long running Community Social Responsibility Fund program, Lake View Credit Union is pleased to announce that they are awarding just under $30,000 to various non-profit projects and programs from around the Peace region.

“The diversity of projects brought to the committee for consideration this fall were really quite amazing.” commented Lake View Credit Union CEO, Lori Archibald. She continued, “To have the opportunity to engage with and support such a broad array of dedicated community champions, and to have Lake View Credit Union become a part of the work they’re so passionate about is incredibly inspiring to all of us here.”

Archibald concluded, “As always, none of this happens without our members and all of those who choose to come and do business with Lake View Credit Union, so first and foremost, thank you to them. To all of the successful recipients, thank you for your participation in this program and we hope these funds will serve to help better equip you to fulfill your organization’s goals and make life better for the people of the Peace region.”

The employees and directors of the Community Social Responsibility Fund Committee would like to thank all of the applicants for their submissions and look forward to seeing their various projects come to fruition.

A short event to award of the funds will take place at the Nawican Friendship Centre this Friday at 5:15pm, who was a recipient in the Spring of 2018 and used the funds to upgrade the electrical in their kitchen:
