After services to commemorate Remembrance Day inside Dwight Hall, veterans and community organizations marched to the Cenotaph in Veteran's Memorial Park for a ceremony including two minutes of silence, placing of wreaths and a salute to veterans.
Several hundred Powell River area residents filled the park and surrounding streets in Townsite for the annual event hosted by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 164, Powell River.
