Nicholas Sean Forster, 19, appeared in Sechelt Provincial Court Tuesday, related to charges stemming from the July 13 collision between an SUV and all-terrain vehicle that killed 21-year-old Shelby Rowland.
Forster was charged July 14 with dangerous driving causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.
He has chosen a lawyer and is set to appear again Sept. 12, after the defence requested police reports and other disclosures.
