There's a full outage in progress Wednesday for all Shaw services including internet, business internet, phone, business phone, digital TV, VOD, Gateway, BlueSky TV, WiFi access points.
The outage is related to a transport truck fire south of Prince George damaging Shaw's fibre network.
Their technical teams were heading out to the scene at about 11 a.m. to work as quickly as possible to repair the damaged infrastructure as soon as it is safe to do so.
According to their website statement they are still working to restore the service as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.
