A man suspected of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Prince George could be living on Vancouver Island.

Prince George RCMP are asking for the public's help in tracking down Christopher Lloyd Dixon, 38.

A warrant for his arrest was issued in September 2019 after he failed to appear in court on charges stemming from an August 2017 police investigation.

RCMP said Tuesday that Dixon is believed to be in the central part of Vancouver Island, possibly the Campbell River area including Black Creek or Cedar. Dixon also has a history in Nanaimo as well as 150 Mile House, near Williams Lake.

He is described as Caucasian, 175 cm (5'9") tall and weighing 76 kg (168 lbs) with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information that could help police locate Dixon is asked contact the RCMP detachment or police of jurisdiction in their area.

They can also anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca (English only).

You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers. If you provide information that leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
