Adam Hyatt of SureWerx, a manufacturer of safety equipment, dropped by the St. Vincent De Paul drop in centre on Tuesday to present Bernie Goold with 48 face shields to help keep staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The centre is continuing to provide meals to the homeless and others in need but on a takeout-only basis - with clients containers holding their breakfasts, lunches and dinners at the door - rather than through formal sittings.
