Charges laid for commercial B&E

Two suspects have been charged after a commercial break and enter occurred Monday. Local RCMP got a call Monday at about 7 a.m. about a break and enter at a business in the 1000 block of Victoria Street.

Two suspects have been charged after a commercial break and enter occurred Monday.

Local RCMP got a call Monday at about 7 a.m. about a break and enter at a business in the 1000 block of Victoria Street.

When police arrived on scene it was evident there was forced entry and a small amount of cash, gift cards and the cash drawer was missing.

At about 8 a.m. frontline officers making patrols in the Connaught Hill area found and arrested an adult male and adult female in possession of the stolen cash drawer, cash and gift cards specific to the business.

The B.C. Prosecution Service have approved the following criminal code charges against 30-year-old Cole Aubichon of Prince George:

* Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

* Fail to comply with an undertaking (two counts)

The BC. Prosecution Service have approved the following criminal code charges against 29-year-old Shayla Rae Crispin of Prince George:

* Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000

* Fail to comply with an undertaking

Both suspects were remanded in custody overnight and made their first court appearance Tuesday.
