The B.C. Wildlife Federation will be hosting a webinar on the role of managing the moose population in resting the province's endangered caribou herds.

It's set for Wed., July 8, 7 p.m. start and will feature wildlife biologist Dr. Rob Serrouya, who will speak about the science behind the province's caribou recovery strategy with part of his talk addressing moose management.

The first hour will be Serrouya's presentation, followed by an hour of questions that can be submitted using the chat function.

In particular, the moose cow-calf hunt in areas that overlap with areas where caribou are found has been controversial.
