Kamloops Symphony jazzing things up for next on-demand show

The next on-demand performance of the Kamloops Symphony will be available beginning Friday, April 9.

Charlie Parker w/ Strings will explore the works of the jazz legend who developed the bebop style of jazz.

Canadian saxophonist Cory Weeds will join the orchestra for the presentation.

Weeds was the founder and owner of Cory Weeds' Jazz Club in Vancouver and toured with many top jazz musicians. He also picked up a Juno Award in 2017 for his work with Metalwood and their album Twenty.

Tickets are $15 each or $25 for a household pass. A special $5 price is also available for those experiencing hardship due to COVID-19.
