Grants up to $5,000 available to aspiring B.C. and Yukon filmmakers

B.C. and Yukon residents have until April 15 to apply for the National Film Board's Filmmaker Assistance Program.

The grant program is designed to help developing independent filmmakers complete their projects by providing technical services and support.

To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and a B.C. or Yukon resident, you must not be currently enrolled in film school, you must not have received assistance under the Film Assistance Program in the past and you must have made no more than four films or video projects, not including student films.
