The Chamber Musicians of Kamloops will kick off their 2021-2022 concert series with Canadian Tale on Friday, Sept. 10.
The concert will feature the Sycamore String Quartet, which includes Cvetozar Vutev on violin, Sandra Wilmot on violin, Ashley Kroecher on viola, Martin Kratky on cello and Sally Arai on clarinet.
The concert will take place at the Kamloops United Church, 421 St. Paul St., and it can also be viewed online.
In-person tickets are $25 for general admission (less for CMK members and students) and free for children age 12 and younger. Online tickets are $15 (less for CMK members and students).
In-person tickets are only available at the door, if available, while online tickets can be purchased at chambermusiciansofkamloops.org.
Partial proceeds from ticket sales will go toward the Donald Bennett Music Legacy Fund.
Bennett had a major impact on countless Kamloops students, as an educator of more than 35 years. He also played with the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra for 25 years. He died suddenly in September 2020.
