Fort St. John RCMP investigate attempted break and enter in Charlie Lake

Fort St. John RCMP are looking for tips in an attempted break and enter in Charlie Lake earlier this month.

RCMP say they were called out to a rural property on Oct. 3 around 6:30 p.m.

"A blue Volkswagen 4 door SUV drove onto the property, an unknown individual got out, wearing a mask and camouflage hoodie, and circled the residence," RCMP said.

"The individual tapped on a window while the owners were in the residence. The owner observed what they believed to be two additional individuals in the Volkswagen as the vehicle sped away."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cst. Cullen at 250-787-8100, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppersnebc.ca
