NWJHL says it is game on!

Alberta teams in the NWJHL will start exhibition play on October 10 - with the DC Canucks and the FSJ Huskies expected to drop the puck later in the month for a five game series.

While the league has still yet to finalize their schedules, the Sexsmith Vipers will be playing a five game series against the Grande Prairie JDA Kings, with the Fairview Flyers going five game series with the North Peace Navigators.

"Dawson Creek Jr Canucks and the Fort St John Huskies will begin an exhibition series as well in the coming days," say league officials. Insiders predict these games are slated to begin the following week.

"Please check in with each team's social media page or website regarding what will be allowed for spectators and other COVID-19 protocols," said league officials this week.

"Good luck everyone, be safe."
