The Dawson Creek Curling Club wrapped their season with a funspiel. Things weren’t as serious this time around, with a high number of new and young curlers.
John Hegge throws the rock, looking to avoid tires, as Casey Patterson and Blayke Willich sweep.
Tristan Steinke guides his teammates, including Eric Smart in the green, into a more crowded than usual house.
Kaelyn Jones throws the rock as her team begins to sweep.
Derek Haberstock leans into his shot.
Carson Freeman throws a rock.
The day wrapped with some barefoot curling for the brave. Payton Freeman gets ready.
Doug Scott was one of the few brave enough to sweep too, eventually earning the title.
