Escaped Alberta Hospital patients may be headed for the area

The public have been advised a pair of escaped hospital patients may be headed to the area –and are asking for the general public to keep their eyes peeled.

Police say Reyhan Jones, 40, and Bailey Gabriel, 30, left hospital grounds Tuesday morning during a walk – getting into a grey SUV.

Both require medication and there are concerns for their wellbeing. Edmonton Police Service say the pair are considered to be violent and dangerous and should not be approached, police have noted both require medication.

Gabriel, who also goes by the name Armstrong, is described as: a white female,  5'1" tall, approximately 145 pounds, with dyed red shoulder-length hair, and last seen wearing black sweat pants, a red long-sleeve shirt, black zip-up sweater and black shoes. Gabriel also wears glasses.

Jones is described as a white male about   6'2" tall and approximately 240 pounds – he has a clean-shaven head and facial hair, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a camouflage t-shirt, a black zip-up jacket, an army green ball cap and black shoes.

Police note the pair may travel to the Grande Prairie area.
