Pouce welcomes new bylaw officer

Pouce Coupe’s new animal bylaw officer Samuel Lowden has lived in the area for 10 years. His wife is originally from Dawson Creek, and he from Salmon Arm, BC.

Prior to bylaw services Lowden was in event security, and he found the transition easy.

“The position is going well, dealing with issues proactively rather than reactive,” Lowden says.

One of the current issues right now in Pouce Coupe is since all the residential damages that occurred from the hail storm, with the home construction people have been forgetting to put their house numbers back onto their houses.

Having no numbers displayed causes problems for 911 services and local businesses.

Lowdon advises residents to please display your new house numbers.
