Kings continued their winning ways to start the 2019/2020 BC Hockey League campaign with a decisive 7-2 win over the visiting Cowichan Valley Capitals at Hap Parker Arena on Sunday, September 15.

Levi Glasman scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season and added four assists to pace the offence while Matteo Paler-Chow stopped 16 of the 18 shots he faced to earn his third win and fourth in as many games for the Kings.

Michael Abgrall, Hunter McCoy, Ethan Schmunk, Nic Porchetta and Ben Wozney also scored for the Kings, who ended their season-opening homestand with a perfect record of 4-0.

Attendance at the game was 619.

Kings’ next five games take place on the road, beginning in Trail on Wednesday, September 18, followed by stops in Salmon Arm, Vernon, Victoria and Nanaimo. Kings will also play Victoria (October 2) and Langley (October 3) at the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack, and visit Nanaimo and Victoria on October 5 and 6, before their next game at Hap Parker Arena against Penticton on October 11.
