After scoring 10 goals in two road wins last week, Powell River Kings were shut out at home in their final preseason game on Friday, August 30.
Alberni Valley Bulldogs bounced back from a pair of home losses to the Kings on August 22 and 23 by skating to a 4-0 win.
The two teams will become even more familiar with each other when they open the BC Hockey League regular season with back-to-back games in Powell River on Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7. Game times at Hap Parker Arena are 7 pm on Friday and 5 pm on Saturday.
