The United States of America has never healed from the Civil War [“Editorial: Reality reset,” January 22]. Hatred and racism are just as prevalent as baseball and apple pie.
President Biden is a decent, honourable gentleman who will expend every ounce of his being trying to unite the land of stars and stripes.
The reality is the United States will always (most unfortunately) remain unhealthily divided. When there is no will, there is no way.
